CQU Brisbane library serves up 'bites' of data

CQU Brisbane International Campus library staff donned chef’s hats and aprons this week to produce a chocolate feast for students and staff, who were invited to share in celebrating Library and Information Week and National Library Technician’s Day.

The chilli bites generated some lively conversation, but a good deal of interest was also shown in the reason for the celebration.

The most difficult question came from a lecturer: “What is the connection between chocolate and libraries?” Answer: Librarians, of course. In the lead up to the event, BIC staff and students were provided with information (via web sites) on the history of chocolate and were invited to test their knowledge with a brief quiz.
