- Partnership paves the way for apprentices

A partnership agreement between Central Queensland University, the Australian Technical College and Central Queensland Insitute of TAFE in Gladstone has paved the way for a group of young apprentices to study a business course in the Cyril Golding Library at CQU Gladstone.
The Australian School-based Apprentices are enrolled with the Australian Technical College - Gladstone Region, which is delivering a Certificate II in Business and Information Technology at CQU's state-of-the-art computer lab within the library.

Staff at Sydney's Graduate Campus recently participated in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for cancer research and prevention.
A small but generous group raised well over $300 during the event, while enjoying cakes, muffins, donuts, slices, biscuits and many more goodies.

Central Queensland University's Regional Centre of the Arts (RcotA) has announced that 2 Central Queensland projects will receive funding in the latest round of arts grants.
A group of community artists, CQU staff and students have been successful in receiving $11,400 to produce a 21st century version of Puccini's opera TOSCA.
