Australian theatre stars Dale Pengelly and Katie Kermond will be in Rockhampton over the next few weeks to nurture performing arts students at CQU Rockhampton.
Both have been supporters of the Bachelor of Performing Arts program over a long period.

Former Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) student Kristin Beradi is fast making a huge name for herself in the international jazz music scene.
Last year the jazz diva took out the vocals gong at Switzerland's Monteaux Jazz Festival, impressing the judges including jazz icon Al Jarreau.

Recent CQU graduate Joan Heron has proven it's never too late for a new career, with a journey culminating in a new job as a community health social worker, at the age of 60.
The wife and mother of 2 (and grandmother of 4) said she was thrilled to graduate from university (in March) despite the challenges along the way, and was looking forward to her new status in the workforce.

CQU Bundaberg has been praised for supporting the training of 2 local Indigenous support workers, employed at the city's new Indigenous Wellness Centre.
Head of Campus Professor Phillip Clift was able - with help from ITD - to arrange access to videoconferences that were essential for the support workers' progress.
