Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

'Strange Creatures' offers fusion of dance and music 

A dance/music fusion performance entitled ‘People Are Strange Creatures’, will be held from 7.30pm on Friday, June 3, at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre.

PhotoID:2106 Up to 58 performers will feature from the three years of the Bachelor of Performing Arts degree program.

This production will feature items choreographed by BPA dance students, with vocal and instrumental performances from BPA music students.
