Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

First CQU Mackay BLM students finish three years of learning today 

Today is the final day of study for the first cohort of Central Queensland University Mackay Bachelor of Learning Management (BLM) students.

PhotoID:997 The students celebrated the occasion with a final roll call on October 7 and met industry partners who assisted with developing the program over the past three years.

Activities throughout the day also included the presentation of posters, which detailed the solution for a real-life classroom challenge.
