Researchers can get snapshot of Queensland

The Population Research Laboratory (PRL) within CQU's Centre for Social Science Research is conducting the 3rd annual Queensland Social Survey in July/August of this year.

The 2007 QSS is an omnibus survey that gathers information from a representative sample of the Queensland population using the Computer-Assisted-Telephone-Interview (CATI) technology resident in the PRL.

The survey offers community and academic researchers the opportunity to access large-scale population-based research for a fraction of the cost associated with stand-alone surveys.

Applications are invited for participation in the 2007 Queensland Social Survey (QSS-2007). Participation is sought via sponsorship of questions to be included in the QSS-2007. These questions are designed by sponsors in order to meet their specific research needs. Written cost estimates will be provided to potential sponsors upon receipt of draft questions.
