Dr Kerry Reid-Searl presented her latest research on medication administration safety in relation to students and also explained MASK-ED. [MASK-ED is the innovative simulation approach that Kerry has been working on using silicone props to mask the educator in the teaching process. It's is due to be launched in March 2011].

Meanwhile, Masters student Kath Flanagan presented her poster on nurses and deleglation procedures.

And Geoff Connor presented early findings from his collaborative research (led by CQUniversity's Dr Trudy Dwyer) examining public satisfaction with the nurse practitioner in the emergency department.

They were among hospital staff from different clinical streams, including doctors, nurses and allied health professions, who presented papers and research.
