Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Record CQU Bundaberg graduation 

Bundaberg's Moncrieff Theatre will be filled to capacity Saturday 26 June for the biggest CQU Bundaberg graduation to date. 176 CQU Bundaberg graduands will proudly accept their awards.

A Doctor of Philosophy will be bestowed on CQU Faculty of Informatics and Communication lecturer Sue Lindsay. Also, Angus Emmott, a grazier from Noonbah Station, southwest of Longreach, Western Queensland, will receive an Honorary Master of Science.
