Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Mackay treated to 'Prawn' concert 

CQUniversity-based vocal ensemble Formidable will perform this Saturday night, December 13, in the Conservatorium Theatre.

Prawn to be a Five is the fifth annual 'Prawn' concert that features vocal soloists from around Australia.

PhotoID:6652A fun concert filled with opera and music theatre hits, this concert usually sells out and tickets are only available at the door.

The concert starts at 7.30 pm. Admission is $15 Adults and $10 concessions.

Recently the group released the single, O Holy Night, just in time for the Christmas season. The single also includes their version of Por ti Sere (You Raise me Up) and is on sale now at Canelands Music for $5.
