A group of ten Korean school principals visited Central Queensland University Mackay on Monday.
Mackay City Council hosted the 14-member tour that allowed the educators to consider placing Korean students in local primary and secondary schools.
Queensland Primary Industries and Rural Communities Minister Henry Palaszczuk expected at least 100 students would take part in the ‘home-host’ scheme each year.
Acting Head of Campus Bruce Knight hoped the students would consider attending CQU after completing their secondary school studies.
