Indian student finds home away from home at CQU Sydney International Campus

Indian postgraduate student Nachiket Joshi says CQU Sydney International Campus has a "homely" feeling due to the cooperative relationships between students and educators and its popularity with Indian students.

Mr Joshi, a Master of Informations Systems student, said he was enjoying the "straightforward" teaching methods, the opportunity for revision, the eagerness of faculty in solving difficulties and the ready availability of tutors and lecturers to answer subject queries.

"The Learning Support Unit (LSU) is one of the best facilities. It's good that other Indian students are around plus there's a high rate of employment of students graduating from here. I like the management, especially top level management, they give a homely atmosphere," he says.

Mr Joshi completed a Bachelor of Science degree from a leading college in Gujarat (M.G. Science College) before embarking on a Master of Science degree.

"MIS is useful because I can do programming and networking-related jobs as well as management.

"I selected CQU due to the reference of senior students, my study of prospectuses and the range of study opportunities."
