Lisa Bricknell receives her awardThis award acknowledges Lisa Bricknell for challenging and inspiring students to examine environmental health issues from both national and global perspectives, using material that is engaging, creative and practical.
Ms Bricknell strives to influence, motivate and inspire students to learn by using innovative problem-based learning activities, based on real life circumstances, that require students to synthesise knowledge and apply skills developed at all stages of their program of study. Lisa has a passion for her discipline and maintains a consistent and enthusiastic dialogue with students, using a variety of modes of communication. She uses a variety of media in creative ways to accommodate a range of individual learning patterns and preferences which provides her students with an authentic learning experience. Lisa has also made a strong contribution to scholarship, through publications addressing current and future trends in university learning and teaching.
Ms Bricknell is highly regarded by her students, within the local community and national industry and displays a profound professional and personal commitment to excellence in learning and teaching at CQUniversity Australia.
