Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Graduate Jordan reaches new heights with 'Faulty Towers' Show in Brighton

And now Jordan, Karen Hamilton (Sybil) and David Sweetman (Manuel) are touring Ireland - the show's third tour there.

The gangly '6-foot-6' graduate of the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music has also been in the news recently as a developer of the innovative SportsComedy Australia business and related StuntFooty League Roadshow.

Jordan describes StuntFooty as "an exciting fusion between Australian Rules Football and a range of physical theatre skills and techniques including acrobatics, circus, tumbling and gymnastics".
