Gladstone's Bachelor of Learning Management (BLM) students recently celebrated their academic achievements with lecturers, mentor teachers and local school principals at an event held in their honour.
The Gladstone Education Ball was organised to provide an opportunity for final-year BLM students to celebrate with those who have helped them throughout their degree.
Final year BLM students celebrating their achievementsCampus Academic Manager Dr Andrew Wallace said the night was a great success and they hoped it will become an annual event for the Gladstone educational community.
"The night was extremely well received by all who attended and we hope to make it an annual event to celebrate our students' achievements," said Dr Wallace.
Eighty-five people attended the night held at Rydges Gladstone and highlights included student performances and an inspiring speech by third-year BLM student, Margi Keefe, who wished the graduating students the best of luck in their future careers.
Around 25 students will complete the BLM program this year, with their final assessment being held on Tuesday October 9. The students will meet on campus for their 'Day of Celebration', for which they will deliver final presentations followed by a shared lunch.
