The recent event was the third in the series, which aims to educate local businesses on the available oportunities in the region and how they can get involved, as well as what the projects need from suppliers in the region. The briefing also provides a valuable networking opportunity for businesses in the region.

Professor Kerry Mummery welcomed the speakers and event attendees on behalf of CQUniversity. A supply chain gap analysis was presented by Phil Henry from the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation, Deb Archbold from Deborah Wilson Consulting Services and Ben Matthews from the Industry Capability Network Qld. The report showed businesses what the projects need in terms of resources, special skills and capabilities.

Stephen Rogers from Zerogen, Mark Greenaway from Wiggins Coal Terminal and Antony Aiossa from Great Keppel Island Resort presented the recent session.
