CQUniversity graduates performed well (see TABLE 1 below) with an overall median salary of $52,000 compared with the national and state overall median salary of $50,000.

Based on aged-under-25 comparisons referred to in GCA media releases (see TABLE 2 below), CQUniversity also performed well with an overall median starting salary of $50,000 compared with the national overall median starting salary of $49,000 and state overall median starting salary of $49,100.

In general CQUniversity graduates fared well across many of the field of education comparisons, in particular building, humanities, psychology, business studies, other engineering, health other, computer science and life sciences.

"Once again CQUniversity graduates are performing much better and earning more upon graduation than the national and state average," Vice-Chancellor Professor Scott Bowman said.

"We are constantly killing the myth that to be successful and increase your earning potential, you have to move away from your home in a regional centre to study in the city. Its simply not true.

"Congratulations to all our fine graduates - and our great teaching staff - who have once again put CQUniversity ahead of the pack."
