Rocky Relay a real success

The Queensland Cancer Fund Relay for Life event held at CQU Rockhampton's sports fields over the weekend (May 20-21) has been hailed a real success.

PhotoID:2852 As of Sunday, 99 teams had raised $200,000 and donations were still flowing in.

The event was 1 of the best organised yet, with one of the highlights being a funny money casino tent with 3 gaming tables.

Teams made themselves as comfortable as possible for the all-night event, with some even bringing couches and sofas, and in 1 case a dance floor.

Many University staff and students were involved as team members, organisers or performers during the 18-hour event.
