Innovative teaching comes first with Sciences, Engineering & Health
Published on 29 January, 2007
For CQU's 2007 Learning and Teaching Showcase the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Health will be highlighting the innovative works currently being undertaken by their teaching teams.
The Showcase focus is on continuous improvement and at this forum the Faculty wants to highlight the good works of its teaching staff in the hope that it can add the collegial atmosphere within the wider University.
From the quest to overcome significant deficiencies in the management and communication within programs through to the innovative usage of communication technologies by teaching staff.
The Faculty envisages a rosy future in teaching and wants to shout it from the rooftops for all and sundry to benefit from.
As stated by Executive Dean Professor Elizabeth Taylor, ‘This is an important year of implementation, consolidation and growth. Our teaching teams are constantly striving for new and innovative ways to balance teaching, research and consultancy activities. I am happy to endorse the Learning and Teaching Showcase and hope that all staff can see their way clear to attend’.
