Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Public welcome to hear latest on 'vibration training' 

All interested people are welcome at a free talk about the benefits of vibration training for health, strength and sports performance, as well as future trends in its use.

The presentation by Dr Brendan Humphries will be hosted by CQUniversity's Health Communities program from 1pm-2pm on Friday October 10 at Rockhampton Campus with video links to campus venues at Mackay, Gladstone, Bundaberg and Noosa.
