Indigenous students celebrate success

Students who have completed the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Tertiary Entry Program (TEP) at CQU Rockhampton celebrated their success during a presentation ceremony on Friday.
Six students graduated from TEP having successfully completed 8 courses.
The successful students are Samantha Bruce, Desley Condon, Nerine Curlew, Madeline Doyle, Nakkare McDonald and Bronwyn Serico.
Desley Condon received the Nulloo Yumbah GPA scholarship and Madeline Doyle received the Nulloo Yumbah outstanding achievement scholarship.
TEP is offered by Nulloo Yumbah, CQU\'s Indigenous Learning, Spirituality & Research Centre. The program prepares indigenous students for studying an undergraduate degree.
“Some people dream about university study; these people did something about it,” TEP Coordinator Laurel Hunt said.
