Student competes for Global Dance Award

CQU Performing Arts student Dayna Fox will this weekend compete in Sydney alongside six other finalists for the 2006 Global Dance Award.
The winner will receive a class scholarship in Los Angeles with a variety of skilled teachers and choreographers as well as a return flight to US and spending money. The runner-up will receive $1000 cash prize. More information can be found at www.globaldance.com.au .
Ms Fox, a third-year Bachelor of Performing Arts student, won through to the Sydney final based on her solo performance in the Rockhampton leg of the Global Dance Convention workshop series (hosted at CQU).
Before starting the BPA program, Dayna completed an Advanced Diploma of Dance in Brisbane.
