New faces at Bundaberg
Published on 16 January, 2004
The new year has brought some new faces and the return of others not seen for a while at CQU Bundaberg.
Vicki Pascoe, the recently appointed Nulloo Yumbah Coordinator joins us from the Northern Territory's Charles Darwin University.
From not as far away, leaving the Rockhampton campus for Bundaberg, are Arts Health and Sciences' Dr Warwick Mules and Informatics and Communication Support Officer Sharon Ivers, previously with DTLS.
Staff were pleased to see the return of Arts Health and Sciences' Lyn Hungerford and Wendy Madsen from OSPRO.
Bundaberg staff will miss the charm and banter of Education and Creative Arts Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning Associate Professor Rob Thompson, who heads to the United Arab Emirates next month for three years.
Associate Professor Thompson's new position will be with Zayed University. He will be living and working in Abu Dhabi, but also working at another campus in Dubai. His new position is Director of the Centre for Professional Development of Educators in the UAE.
