Litres of Laughter flood Under 8s Week at CQU Mackay

This year’s Under 8s Week water theme prompted Central Queensland University education students to build creative displays for the University and Gordon White Library.

PhotoID:854The theme Litres of Laughter was used to promote the importance of early childhood education.

Kristy Jenkinson said her team’s effort included stimulus material based on the five senses.

“Different objects were used for each of the senses and we encouraged people to consider and reflect on their childhood memories,” she said.

The Gordon White Library display highlighted the rippling effect play had on children’s learning.
