Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

February CQUni exams will proceed 

CQUniversity's  Term 3 Final examinations at 51 locations throughout Queensland  in February  are currently scheduled to proceed despite the floods, a CQUniversity official announced this week.

2751 students are preparing to sit the exams across the state starting 7 February.

"As the flood recovery work progresses in communities throughout Queensland we will identify if any examination centres need to be changed and advise students accordingly," explained Barbara Lawrence, Academic Registrar.
