Schools gearing up for multimedia competition
Published on 15 October, 2008
Queensland's primary and secondary schools have been preparing entries for a multimedia competition with a 'futures' oriented theme.
Entries by State, Catholic and Independent schools have already come from as far afield as Goondiwindi, Gympie, Yepoon and Gladstone.
Organiser Stephen Millan, from CQUniversity's School of Learning and Innovation, said students have been asked to prepare a multimedia presentation examining 'futures' issues like careers, sustainability, recycling, changes in schooling "and other themes of interest to them as participants in a changing world".
Entries are still being accepted, with final submissions or expressions of interest due at the end of October. Details via Heather Baker on 4930 6774.
