Dr Mothana A. Al-Kubaisy chose a good time to visit CQUniversity Rockhampton this week, as he was able to attend a graduation ceremony, which he "thoroughly enjoyed".
The Dean of Oman's Muscat College spent three days as our guest, attending meetings and arranging to build relationships between the two institutions.
Dr Al-Kubaisy said he was keen to explore the potential for academic affiliations for delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in business, accounting, IT and the built environment.
"We'll be looking at student and staff exchanges and joint research activities too," he said.
Muscat College University College was established in 1996 as a private academic Omani institution of higher education, which is accredited and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of High Education in Oman.
Its programs are delivered in English and it is affiliated with both the University of Stirling and The Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) UK.
