What was a key turning point for you?

"After completing my Human Movements degree at QUT I was indecisive about my future until a friend suggested I look at the scholarship for a Masters by research project at CQUniversity. It seemed to be an opportunity to work in an area where I could help others ... I'm a people person so it worked out well."

What are you doing now?

"I'm preparing for the formal evaluation and data collection phase of my Blue Care Staff Wellness Program Project, which forms the basis of my Masters research."

What's coming up in future?

"I've got approval to progress my Staff Wellness research into a PhD project, so I'll be continuing for a few more years."

What do you do outside the campus?

"I'm keen on socialising with friends and I do a bit of swimming."

What's something people might not know about you?

"I have a large family network. My mother has 19 brothers and sisters so there's plenty of uncles and aunts and cousins".

What advice do you have for young people?

"When looking into a career, give it a try. Get as much experience as you can and find out what you enjoy about a job that you might be interested in."
