"I have just spent a most wonderful and creative weekend at North Keppel Island," one participant said.

"Liz Huf has been organising this yearly event since the late 1990s and does an excellent job. The workshops have a strong following. Over 30 people attended, some workshop 'virgins' like myself, and some who have not missed a workshop since inception.

"Folk came from all walks of life and backgrounds. What a wonderful link to community and service to the region.

"The 'import' was Jena Woodhouse, poet and author from Brisbane ... I'll certainly be lining up for the workshop next year".
