Cap College does its bit for Aussie-US relations

Trent Livingstone was known as an "I.T. guy" (short for computer guru) around Capricornia College back in 2003. And it turns out that college resident Brynn Ervin was his "it girl".

The two hit it off and are now married.

PhotoID:2968 It seems simple. However, they would not have met but for CQU's relationship with Eastern Washington University (EWU).

The then Miss Ervin was an Organisational Communication major and English minor at EWU before coming to CQU in 2003 on a study abroad program.

Meanwhile, Trent came from Mossman (north of Cairns) to enrol at CQU Rockhampton.

The pair only got to spend a few months together before Brynn had to return to America to complete her undergraduate degree.

However, Brynn returned to Rockhampton at the end of 2003 and Trent made a reciprocol visit to America early in 2004. Soon after arriving, he made the romantic gesture of proposing on St Valentine's Day.

Brynn moved to Australia in June of 2004 and the pair arranged 2 weddings - one in America in December of 2004, and another in Australia in March 2005.

Trent is in the final year of his Bachelor of Information Technology degree.

And in between all the globe-trotting, Brynn managed to earn a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management with CQU.
