A walk in the park

Cancer is no walk in the park, but the walk could help.

10,000 Steps invites you to take a walk in the park to celebrate Cancer Action Week in Rockhampton next Sunday, September 28.

PhotoID:1033 The ‘walk for wellness’, which commences at 9am at the Kershaw Gardens, High Street entrance, has been coordinated by the Queensland Cancer Fund, Capricornia Division of General Practice and 10,000 Steps Rockhampton.

A morning tea, sausage sizzle, Tai Chi and Yoga demonstrations will follow the community fun walk.

The day hopes to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and to launch Cancer Action Week 2003, from September 29 to October 5.
