CQU's Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic Services), Professor Alex Radloff, visited CQU Mackay last Friday to consult with staff on the new Management Plan for Learning and Teaching.

Professor Radloff introduced herself to staff and spoke about the process undertaken so far in drafting goals for the plan.

She reported that the review was due to the disengagement and complexity of the current plan and the opportunity to coincide with the current University restructure.

Professor Radloff was delighted to have the opportunity to visit CQU Mackay and collaborate with colleagues, not just from Mackay but throughout the CQU network of campuses.

The forum was well attended by CQU Mackay staff with nearly all academic staff participating as well as various general staff.

Staff broke into groups and discussed relevance and clarity of various goals shaped by a consortium of CQU representatives recently.

The session gave all staff a chance to voice their opinions and offer suggestions which will all be taken on board in the next stage of formulating the Management plan for Learning and Teaching.
