This Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Mackay public will be able to see CQU at Caneland Central.
Academics and general staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice for non-school leavers and high school students.
Community Relations OfficerClaire Barry said the information session is the second held this year at Caneland Central.
“Coming to the public at Caneland is a convenient for those wanting to access information on CQU Mackay programs and support services,” said Claire.
“Those interested in attending CQU Mackay next year still have up to January 22 to apply through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) for the February round offers”.
“If people are thinking of university study for the new year then this is a good time to get down to Caneland and find out more about the program that best suits their career goals,” said Claire.
For those non-school leavers, STEPS staff will be on hand to discuss an alternative pathway into university.
“We’re looking forward to talking to lots of people about their goals and how to achieve them through studying at CQU Mackay,” said Claire.
