A whole lot of moving across campus

There's been a whole lot of moving going on! In recent months, many staff have shifted office or moved onto campus to support the organisational review and to free up space in the city for commercial tenants.

The space management and maintenance teams at Division of Facilities Management have been assisting staff to complete the transfers as smoothly as possible.

The Office of Research has moved from the City Precinct and is now located on campus on the second floor of Building 32. Megan Barrett, Director, commented that she was extremely happy with the move and that her staff had worked well with Facilities Management to complete the relocation.

Corporate Services staff Jo Miller and Gillian Adams can now be found in Building 29 on the first floor, and Division of Marketing (formerly Division of University Relations) has moved from Building 67 to its newly refurbished offices in Building 37, fronting the highway.

The recently formed Office of Development and Graduate Relations, headed by Suzi Blair, has relocated from Building 11 to the newly refurbished Building 41.

Chris Lynch, Director of the Analysis and Planning  group and his staff  have been relocated from the city back to the main campus into the cottage-style office accommodation in Building 67, next door to the Childcare Centre near Norman Road.

The media/journalism studio and computer labs have also been relocated from the old Magistrate's Court to the Quay Street building where a new media lab and fully outfitted sound studio are currently under construction. All other staff that were in the court buildings are also now located at Quay Street.

Directional signage on the campus is currently being updated to display the new locations for visitors, students and staff.
