Try your luck: People wanted for gambling research

CQU psychology researchers are putting their money down for a gambling project which will see participants gamble on a simulated pokie machine.

Researchers Dr Matthew Rockloff and Victoria Dyer are seeking willing participants to take part in the gambling study.

Participants will be provided with funds to gamble on a simulated pokie machine with any money they win while playing is theirs to keep. In addition, there is the possibility of winning a $500 jackpot prize which will be drawn at the end of the research period.

Ms Dyer said participation in the research will take about an hour and should be “fun and easy”.

Interested people should contact Victoria Dyer on 4930 9328 or call the CQU switchboard.
