Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Graduate Destination Survey prize presented 

CQU Evaluation Services, Division of Teaching and Learning Services, is pleased to announce that Ingrid Haine (pictured) is the lucky prize winner in the Graduation Destination Survey competition.

PhotoID:1860 Graduates who finished their program of study in 2003 and completed a Graduation Destination Survey were included in the draw.

Ingrid had the choice of one of the following prizes—a leather briefcase, a personal CD player, an electronic organiser or a hardwood or gold finish plaque of her graduate degree.

Ingrid choose the electronic organiser – Congratulations Ingrid! If you are completing your program of study in 2004 and fill in a Graduation Destination Survey, you too will be eligible to go into the draw to win next year’s prize.
