Health message 'no bull' for CQU nurses

CQU's School of Nursing and Health Studies has contributed to a breast screening awareness campaign by decorating one of Rockhampton's famous bulls (the one near Red Hill shopping precinct).

PhotoID:3425 'Nursabull', which has featured on ABC State TV News and WIN TV News, was a project driven by staff members including CQU's Vicki Taylor, Jenny Anastasi and Dr Trudy Dwyer.

According to Head of School Dr Lorna Moxham: "Vicki spent the weekend at the machine sewing the sequin coat ... Jenny and Trudy spent time Monday with the suture packs sewing the boobies and the stethoscope with Vicki ironing away. Thanks to other staff who also added their 2 cents worth".
