Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Dr Moxham recognised in Who's Who

Head of Nursing and Health Studies Dr Lorna Moxham has received confirmation she will be included in the next edition (the 5th) of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.

The Marquis publication aims to 'recognise today's leaders in the teaching, practice, planning, financing and delivery of healthcare'.

The 5th edition provides biographical background on more than 25,000 successful medical professionals, administrators, educators, researchers, clinicians and industry leaders.
