Host families needed for international students

The Central Queensland University Language Centre is seeking to expand its list of families in the Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Gracemere communities to host visiting international students.

Both short and long-term homestay accommodation is required.

Short-term stays are usually between 1 and 6 weeks for high school and university students who participate in English classes and tourist and cultural activities (Study Tours).

Long-term stays are usually between 1 and 46 weeks for Language Centre students who study English full-time (Monday to Friday).

If you are a family interested in inviting an international student to become part of your family, share conversation and exchange culture, please call Serah-Jane Lees on 4930 6422 or email language-enquiries@cqu.edu.au .
