Teams of three Year 12 students from 10 local high schools met at the Rockhampton Campus of CQU to compete in Business Challenge 2002, compered by ABC Broadcaster, David Anderson.

A panel of independent judges presided over the answers to the questions and agreed that the Rockhampton Grammar School team satisfied the requirements of the competition and were the clear winners.

“The competition this year is great, perhaps a little harder than last year,” said twins Joshua and Marcus Goddard, part of the winning team from Business Challenge 2001.

“The competition is an annual event and there are plans to expand the competition to our other regional campuses,” said Professor Kevin Fagg, Dean, Faculty of Business and Law.

The competition challenges students to correctly answer rounds of questions in a range of areas including general knowledge, accounting, legal studies, computer knowledge and business communication.
