Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Uni screens German comedy in Mackay 

Film & Arts Mackay (FAM), a CQUniversity Library initiative, will screen a German comedy titled ‘Soul Kitchen' on Friday, July 2 at 7pm at the Mackay campus' Cook Theatre.

Ticket prices are $8 for members and $12 for non-members and can be purchased in the foyer of the administration building prior to the movie.

FAM show a range of selected films, including foreign films and independent releases on the first Friday of every month at the University.

Moviegoers are invited to share supper and a glass of wine at the conclusion of the movie.
