Sydney's finance department drives for better customer service
Published on 30 April, 2007
The Finance Department at Sydney International Campus recently dedicated itself to improving customer service and relations with students through initiatives implemented by the Finance team.
One of the numerous tasks which Finance undertakes is encouraging students to update their Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) on campus. Not only is this more convenient for the student but also saves time and paper work for both the student and the Finance Department.
In a bid to encourage health cover renewal, students who renewed their Health Cover through the SIC were automatically placed in a draw to win movie tickets, with a further incentive given to students who renewed for 2 years or more.
Medibank happily came on board with this initiative and provided gift bags to all students who renewed their OSHC on campus irrespective of the duration of the renewal.
The above initiative proved to be a huge success for the SIC Finance Department as they were able to increase their renewal rate by 186% over previous terms.
Congratulations to the following students who won movie tickets: Michaela Maixnerova, Mohammad Shah Newaz, Yang Zhang, Varun K Bhardwaj and Natalia Supova.
