Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQU's Australian Graduate Survey prize winner 

The Evaluation Services, Analysis and Planning Unit is pleased to announce that Rick Thompson is the lucky prize winner in the CQU Australian Graduate Survey competition.

Graduates who completed their program of study in 2005 and filled in a survey were included in the draw.

Rick had the choice of one of the following prizes—a leather briefcase, a personal CD player, an electronic organiser or a hardwood or gold finish plaque of his graduate degree.

Congratulations Rick.

If you are completing your program of study in 2006 and fill in a survey, you too will be eligible to go into the draw to win next year’s prize.
