Increased workplace demand has meant Central Queensland University Mackay will offer more Human Resource Management units of study in 2003.
CQU Faculty of Business and Law sub-dean Jo Luck said students no longer needed to move to Rockhampton or other universities to continue their HRM program.
“Previously students could only complete the first year of a HRM program, but these extra four units mean more Mackay students can remain based locally,” she said.
“Students can now enjoy the benefits of having two of the three year program available in Mackay.
Unit content relates to HR development, Australian Industrial Relations, performance management and HR planning, recruitment and selection.
