Tertiary management body considers tropical region

The Association of Tertiary Education Management Inc (ATEM) is considering a new structure under which CQU members would be part of a tropical region, also including Charles Darwin University and James Cook University.

ATEM is the professional association for managers and administrators working in tertiary education, particularly in Australia and New Zealand.

The ATEM 2010 proposal will fundamentally change the way ATEM is structured and managed.

ATEM President Tom Gregg will meet members and interested staff on Wednesday  September 12, from Noon in 33/G.03 via videoconference connections with CQU, JCU and CDU to discuss the proposed regional arrangements and changes to membership.

Please direct any queries in the first instance to Jo Miller, on extension 2590 or j.m.miller@cqu.edu.au.
