Early birds catch Active Kids discount

There are only a few weeks until Active Kids Rockhampton’s Early Bird Registration rate closes.

Active Kids Rockhampton is a 5-day sporting and recreation day camp for 9 to 13-year-old boys and girls in the Central Queensland area, from January 16-20 at the CQ Community Sports Centre.

PhotoID:2763 Active Kids Rockhampton is 5 action-packed days right before school resumes where children rotate through five different sport and recreational activities daily, all taught by qualified Development Officers and Recreational Instructors in their various fields of expertise.

Already a number of local sport and recreation organisations have jumped on board, with confirmed activities including table tennis, aerobics, AFL, orienteering, netball, rugby league, soccer, athletics and Bootcamp.

CQU Human Movement Science students play a major role in Active Kids Rockhampton, assisting in the organisation of the camp through their Industry Practicum. Students studying to be HPE teachers provide supervision and assist with activities.

So if you want to get your child active and keep them busy after the fun of Christmas has worn off, what better way could there be than to get them playing sport or getting active with recreation?.

Single child early bird registration costs $160 or a 2-child registration costs $280. Registration includes qualified Sport Development Officers and recreation instructors, camp shirt, waterbottle, lunch and morning/afternoon teas daily and much more.

One lucky registration lodger will also win a $300 gift voucher to spend at Tuckers Cycle Inn.

Early Bird Registration closes on Friday November 25 2005.
