Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Rocky offers stream of ideas for WaterEd visitors 

CQU senior executives will be on tap this Friday to greet visitors from the International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICE WaRM), trading as WaterEd Australia.

PhotoID:2511 WaterEd CEO Richard Hopkins and Education Services Manager Angela Murray will meet the CQU leaders to develop CQU's role as an equal partner in the ICE WaRM consortium.

ICE WaRM's aim is to provide a highly visible gateway to Australia's collective expertise and support in water resources management, education, training, research and consulting.
