Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Our Kerry a deputy rep for National Health Workforce Taskforce group

Congratulations to Dr Kerry Reid-Searl who has been selected as a Deputy representative for the Simulated Learning Environments Expert Reference Group, part of the National Health Workforce Taskforce (NHWT).

As Deputy, Dr Reid-Searl (from our Department of Health Innovation, based at Rockhampton) will support Patrick Crookes (from the University of Wollongong) and attend meetings if he is not available.
