CQU's School of Nursing and Health Studies will send representatives from its Rockhampton and Sunshine Coast sites to the Royal College of Nursing Australia (RCNA) Expo in Brisbane on May 28.
The RCNA Expo is a major event in the nursing calendar. It showcases the nursing profession by highlighting the diversity of available opportunities.
There will be exhibits by education providers, service providers, unions and professional organisations.
"This will be an opportunity to promote the School’s programs that have been uniquely developed to meet both students' and industry’s needs," according to Associate Lecturer Toni McLean.
"We will be promoting all of the opportunities for current and potential nurses.
"These include the undergraduate nursing degrees, post graduate programs, including the Master’s of Clinical Practice and the School’s specialist unit, the Competency Assessment Service (for nurses seeking to re-enter the workforce)".
Details are available from Toni via 07 4930 9818 or t.mclean@cqu.edu.au .
The Expo will be held at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (Southbank).
