Student Association restructuring

Gary McMurtie, President of CQU Student Association, advises the Student Association will be implementing the latest phase of its restructuring. Preparations included consultation with staff, and a review by the management team, prior to being unanimously endorsed by the Student Association Board.

Gary says the criteria for restructuring set by the Board have been met, includeding no forced redundancies, no loss of current pay conditions for existing staff, and no fee increases for students. The restructure, according to Student Association, redeploys resources into the creation of addition \"frontline staffing positions.\".

\"Students experience the increased convenience of a one-stop approach to service access,\" said Gary.

The Student Association also intends to create new revenue streams via new programs and networks.
