For Ashita Sami, attending CQU courses is the same at Rockhampton campus or Fiji campus.

PhotoID:2670 The Bachelor of Information Technology student has studied at CQU’s Fiji campus and feels quite at home in Rockhampton.

She has an excellent mastery of English, and transferring from the Fiji campus has been very easy. It’s just a matter of changing venues. The core content of the degree is exactly the same.

Ashita is lucky enough to have support from CQU International employees such as Lavenia James and other former Fijians.

Talking about her prospects, Ashita is very confident.

“My brother is also a CQU IT graduate. He had job offers before he finished his studies. I will have no problem to find a full-time job, but I want to find more experience in Australia, which can be beneficial in the future,” she says.

Ashita has also been chosen as the Capricornia College International Liaison Officer.
